Ford F-150 Black Ops Edition Review
There are quite a few special-edition trucks that have hit the auto market in recent times, but most of them come with only a few cosmetic upgrades here and there. As such, not all of them prove as valuable as expected.
But amongst all, the Ford F-150 Black Ops is making a departure in this regard. It is the brainchild of Tuscany, which is also the name behind the Harley-Davidson and Tonka editions. Believe it or not, the Ford Black Ops edition is more than just an aesthetic upgrade.
Let’s get to know more about the Ford Black Ops edition here:
Some Great Features
Tuscany has based the Ford Black Ops on the Ford F-150 Lariat. As such, you can already expect to find a host of features on the truck. These include powered running boards, power tailgate, LED bed lighting, and tie-down hooks. The Ford Black Ops edition features heavy-duty shocks, which are incorporated after lifting the truck by six inches. It sits on 20-inch “Black Ops” wheels with all-terrain tires.
Tuscany hasn’t modified the 5.0-liter V8 engine of the F-150. The Ford Black Ops edition has a hood that now comes with a highly-functional and efficient ram-air intake. It has excellent fender vents, along with black-painted grilles. Not to forget, the pickup truck also comes with a new and appealing front bumper. This is where the off-road LED lights and on-road driving lamps are integrated. You can see the Ford badge fixed right in the center of the bumper.
The Ford Black Ops edition features some leathered interior components that make its cabin luxurious and classy like nothing else. The trim of its dashboard, although made of faux carbon fiber, looks realistic. You can easily get used to the interiors of the cabin. The seats are extremely comfy and are made of high-quality materials. The interior is roomy enough for an enjoyable family ride. Dual-zone climate control, touchscreen display, twin-panel roof, GPS navigation, satellite radio, and audio system, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity quite perfectly technologize the interior of the Ford Black Ops edition.
