Mustang world’s Best-Selling Sports Coupe Gets New Options for 2020

The Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of all time. Though manufactured by Ford, a brand that does not need any introduction, the Mustang has a cult following of its own. The performance powerhouse does not just turn heads but is also capable of unleashing hell on the racetrack. Some things that characterize a Mustang are a monstrous engine raring to go, sporty design, and growling exhaust. For decades now, the Mustang has been helping adrenalin junkies around the world bring their dreams to life. The 2020 Mustang is no different. To help Mustang fanatics live their dreams, no matter how crazy they might be, Ford offers new options for the 2020 Mustang. Let’s take a look at these options.

2.3-liter High-Performance package
One of the highlights of the 2.3-liter High-Performance package is its 50/50 weight distribution. Other noticeable things include high-performance suspension components, aerodynamics, and GT brakes. The steering, anti-lock braking, stability control, and driver-selectable modes are fine-tuned for superior performance.

EcoBoost Handling package
One of the most popular new options for the 2020 Mustang is the EcoBoost Handling package, which includes next-gen MagneRide dampers, 19X9.5-inch premium painted aluminum wheels, and a TORSEN 3.55:1 limited-slip rear axle. 265/40R19 Pirelli Corsa4 summer tires are as stylish as it gets.

The new and improved 2020 Shelby GT
The 700 hp monster is the quickest accelerating Mustang ever. The 2020 Shelby GT design team comprised Ford performance designers and powertrain and aerodynamics engineers who tested various designs both digitally and physically. These engineers analyzed more than 500 3D designs to come up with ways to maximize cooling and aerodynamic performance. The result of several hours of brainstorming sessions was a new rear spoiler design nicknamed the swing (effectively a hybrid between a spoiler and a wing).

Color options
Ford brought back the popular 1970s shade, Grabber Lime Green for the 2020 GT500. The color is available on all GT350s and GT500s. Ford describes Grabber Lime Green as modern and bold new energy. Other new colors introduced for the 2020 lineup include Twister Orange (deeper than Competition Orange), Red Hot Metallic, and Ionic Silver.
